Eric Burdon (1941) is an English rock singer, best known as a member of The Animals.

Zappa arranged a few tracks for The Animals album "Animalisms" (1966). Eric Burdon & The Animals - "It's All Meat / The Other Side Of This Life" (7" single, MGM K 13795, August 21, 1967). The group mentions Zappa in their song "Winds of Change".
