Agon is a 1957 composition by Igor Stravinsky.

Nigey Lennon claims on page 50-51 of her book Being Frank - My Time With Frank Zappa that Zappa once arranged the first few bars of the trumpet fanfare of "Agon" into his song Status Back Baby on stage.

In My Favorite Records, a 1967 article fo Hit Parader Zappa recommended Agon as: "a beautiful thing."
