"Brazil" (1985) is a American science fiction, fantasy and satirical film, directed by Terry Gilliam and starring (among others) Robert De Niro, Michael Palin, Bob Hoskins and Ian Holm.

The film is about a man working a bureaucratic job in a dystopian, totalitarian world and rebels against it's government. "Brazil" is generally considered Gilliam's best film and has become a cult movie.

In the interview The Last Days of Frank Zappa Zappa mentioned that "Brazil" is his favourite movie.
