Gene Estes was a sought after percussionist appearing on many recordings.
He provided percussion (mallets, tympani, latin percussion, ...) on Freak Out! (1966) and Lumpy Gravy (1968). He also played drums and tympani on Bobby Jameson's "Gotta Find My Roogalator" (1966). He was also involved as a percussionist on Jean-Luc Ponty's King Kong (1970).
