Erhard Busek (March 25, 1941 - March 13, 2022) was an Austrian lawyer and christian-democratic politician, active for the ÖVP. He was Minister of Science and Research (1989-1994), Vice-Chancellor (1991-1995) and Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs (1994-1995).

In 1978, after the concert held on 3 February 1978 at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, Erhard Busek dressed up as Franz Schubert and shook hands with Frank Zappa. Journalist Rudi Dolezal said in an interview that during this concert Zappa performed Bobby Brown Goes Down in world premier and while Dolezal could understand the obscene lyrics, Busek apparently seemed unaware, as he instantly wanted to shake Zappa's hand after the performance, much to Dolezal's amusement.
