Martin Cohen was the brother of Herb Cohen. He worked as an attorney, drawing up Herb and Mark Cheka's first original contract to act as joint managers of The Mothers. He was also instrumental in setting up the labels Bizarre and Straight.
In 1976, Zappa sued the Cohen Brothers, ending their working relationship.
