Roy Tann (June 24, 1920 - August 16, 1998) was an American R&B singer. During the 1950s, he released the singles April Fool, Twistin' & Wigglin' (1955), Hot Rod Queen, Acapulco (1957), I Don't Like It (1957), Your Driver's License, Please, Hey Sugar (1957) and Isabella (1964).

In Fifties Teenagers And Fifties Rock (1970), Zappa talked about his discovery of Roy Tann.
"In 1956, I hit upon the only record of this Roy Tann I ever saw. It was called "I Don't Like It," and it was on the Tan label. Hmmm. It went like this:

You'll look mighty funny you must admit

The other side starts like this: Roy Tann: "Ah, you tend to spring chicken. Girl, what's your name?" Girl: "My name's Isabella and I'm off to a party. I can't talk to you right now." Then Roy breaks into song:
