On a number of occasions FZ took on the role of 'Fraudulent DJ', and aired his favorite music selections on radio stations. Although not strictly in the role of a lighthearted DJ, a recorded lecture entitled "Speaking Of Music" by FZ - regarding a dissection of his compositions, which he gave at The Exploratorium in the Palace Of Fine Arts, San Francisco, 20th May 1984 - was broadcast on KPFA/KPFB Berkeley on the 5th of August of that year. The broadcast lecture format was as follows;
