On 27 June 1969 Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention performed at the Denver Pop Festival, which would also host the final performance of the Jimi Hendrix Experience.[1] The Mothers performed Hungry Freaks, Daddy, The Downtown Talent Scout, A Pound For A Brown (On The Bus), Sleeping In A Jar, Some Ballet Music and an unknown piece in which Zappa conducted the audience.[2]
