Zappa employed two guys named Bob Harris. The first one toured with the MOI from May until August 1971, playing keyboards. He was once married to singer/songwriter Judee Sill.
Bob #1 provided keyboards and vocal for Fillmore East, June 1971, You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 6, and Playground Psychotics. His relatively short tenure allowed him to escape immortalization in the Beat The Boots series.
Bob #1 also provided keyboards and vocals on John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Some Time In New York City. He died on July 6, 1993 in Los Angeles, CA.
