Gotan Project is a french trio formed in 1999. Their music, a fusion between argentinian and electronic musics, has accents of trip-hop, house and jazz. In Argentinian lunfardo and in French verlan (kinds of slang based on syllables inversion), Gotan actually means Tango. The band covered only one Zappa track: Chunga's Revenge.
