They recorded "Dreamy Eyes" ([[Original Sound]] 15) in 1961 with [[Art Laboe|Laboe]] and backed [[Cleve Duncan]] (as [[The Peguins]]) on [[Memories Of El Monte]]

[[The Viceroys]] featured the voice of Jimmy Conwell. He went onto to record throughout the late 1960's as a solo artist and with The Exits. The Viceroys reformed and recorded as The Light Drivers. Although Conwell failed to find much success at the time his records became very collectable amongst soul fans.
