In 1993, he produced the ''[[BBC Television Tribute]]'' ''Late Show'' TV special about Frank Zappa <ref>https://www.donlope.net/fz/videos/BBC93.html</ref> (also known as the ''[[A&E Biography]]''), where he interviewed Frank Zappa and various band members, relatives and fans about his life and career. He also wrote the article ''[[Zappa Plays On]]'' to promote the broadcast.
