'''Life in Hell''' was a satirical comic strip by [[Matt Groening]], serialized between 1977 and 2012. It featured gags about an anthropomorphic rabbit family, of which the father was named Binky, his wife Sheba and their son Bongo. Other characters were the identical-looking friends, Akbar and Jeff. In 1987, Groening received the chance to adapt ''Life in Hell'' into an animated TV series, but eventually changed his plans to come up with ''[[The Simpsons]]'' instead.
