''Elvis Shrugged'' was a three-part comic book originally published in 1991. It was an affectionate parody of Ayn Rand's ''Atlas Shrugged.'' The story is set in 1997, when the record business, which has become a conglomerate named Time-Warner-Sony, has collapsed due to so many talented musicians leaving. It is revealed that the [[Elvis Presley]] who everyone had thought had died in 1977 was actually a clone created by Elvis' infamous manager Col. Tom Parker from skin cells. As shown in the second picture, [[Biography|Frank Zappa]] was one of the musicians who was part of Elvis' grand plan, being the one who secured a secret hideout called "Blue Hawaii", after Elvis' [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054692/reference/ 1961 movie].<br />
