Walter Grootaers

Walter Grootaers (1955) is a Belgian TV presenter, politician and lead singer of the Flemish rock band De Kreuners.
In a 2003 interview with the Belgian magazine Humo Grootaers claimed: "When I started my musical career I just wanted to prove that you can rock in the Dutch language. De Kreuners were founded when I tried to figure out how to put my big examples - Frank Zappa, Lou Reed, The Clash, The Rolling Stones - in Dutch language music."
