The Cellos were an American doo-wop group, best known for their hit cover of "I'm The Japanese Sandman" (1957). Since legal issues prevented them from using the original title they changed the title of the song into "Rang Tang Ding Dong". Unfortunately many interested buyers where searching in vain for "I'm The Japanese Sandman" instead of "Rang Tang Ding Dong". The Cellos failed to score another hit and their career ended prematurely.
