David Samuels, Born: 9th October 1948 in Waukegan a suburb north of Chicago, IL.


Vibraphone, marimba and timpani player. Started playing drums and piano aged six. Moved to vibes and marimba at college. Joined Gerry Mulligan sextet in 1974 and went on to play with Spyro Gyra between 1977 and 1994.
