The Viceroys were an American doo-wop band, popular with the regulars at El Monte Legion Stadium during the late 1950s with support from Art Laboe and promoter Hal Zieger.

They recorded "Dreamy Eyes" (Original Sound 15) in 1961 with Laboe and backed Cleve Duncan (as The Penguins) on Memories Of El Monte.

Their lead singer Jimmy Conwell went on to record throughout the late 1960s as a solo artist and with The Exits. The Viceroys reformed and recorded as The Light Drivers. Although Conwell failed to find much success at the time his records became very collectable amongst soul fans.
