The Gaylarks were an American doo-wop group, best known for their hit "Tell Me Darling" (1955).

Zappa and The Gaylarks

Zappa saw the group live when he was at high school (Zappa, 79/8). Later he played "Tell Me Darling" while he was a guest in the radio show Dr. Demento, KMET, Dec 1973 and in the radio program WSTM, Chicago, 21 November 1974.
