An Evening With Wild Man Fischer

I have a USA copy of this album, the sleeve of which indicates an earlier date than 1969.

Was it issued anywhere other than the US? I have only ever seen US copies. The copyright date will often be earlier than the release date due to delays in manufacturing and distribution. Duncan 08:25, 11 May 2008 (PDT)

Don't know if it was issued elsewhere. However, if the given date is correct (April 28 1969) that means if FZ copyrighted as late as say Xmas 1968- which means it was complete- then it was 4 months in production, a surprisingly long time for a record of such immediacy & given FZs clout. Wild Man could have passed on in a quarter of a year!

This highlights the need for source confirmation. Where did April 28 1969 come from/Can the sender respond?
