A poncho in it simplest form is a single, rectangular piece of cloth with an opening for the head, mostly worn in Latin America.

"Sears" refers to Sears, Roebuck and Co., a large USA department store providing everything for the ideal home, now known as Sears. See Sears.
(It's parent is now Sears Holdings Corporation, that includes 'Apostrophe' among its brands. See Sears Holdings & Apostrophe (')).
