Notes & Comments
A documentary concentrating on FZ's technique of composition with the Synclavier. It has some bits of dialogue, and intercut remarks by several composers such as Boulez, Xenakis, and Stockhausen (and some footage of FZ with the first two). The director also periodically inserted b&w sequences from monster movies and footage about Bigfoot.
The background music is by FZ – from his Synclavier. There is a several-minutes-long segment in the middle entitled "Electronic Music by Frank Zappa".
