Leo Limón is an artist. He provided the Cholo illustration for the cover of Just Another Band From L.A. and illustrations for the Frank Zappa Song Book Volume One.

Born in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles in 1952, where he lives and works, Límon is known for his murals and prints. As a community activist he has worked tirelessly as a youth advocate reaching thousands of at-risk Los Angeles youth using his art to intervene in the gang violence of Los Angeles. Some of his work is included with the Cheech Marin collection and will be shown at the The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art, Culture & Industry.


LEO LIMON [8-10 / 0º-30º], one of the constellations in the "One Size Fits All" (1975) "universe", is pictured as a car. The car is actually a 49 Plymouth, owned by Cal Schenkel. LEO LIMON, the car constellation, has stars called FAN BELT - a reference to the song Florentine Pogen on the One Size Fits All, and ABRACADABRA. The other stars are named "Differential", "Algebra", "Regulus", "Steering Wheel", and "Algenon".
