Principal cellist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic (mid 1950's). Hindemith wrote his duo for viola and cello for brothers Kurt and Sven Reher.
Kurt Reher provided cello for Freak Out!, and was a special guest on The Mothers 'Reunion' tour on 5/15/1970 in Los Angeles.
