Johnny Cash (b. John R. Cash 02/26/1932 Kingsland, AR, d. 10/12/2003 Nashville, TN) was one of the most influential country singers. He had a very distinct style and voice. He sang the usual country songs, however he also sang rock covers (at least later in life) such as "Rusty Cage" by Soundgarden.
