Jean Blaute (March 1, 1952) is a Belgian singer, guitarist, music producer, composer, occasional actor and TV presenter. He produced many albums by Flemish/Belgian musical artists and groups. He was also a jury member in the Flemish version of "Idols" in 2003, 2004 and 2007 and the equally musical talent hunt show "X Factor". He also presented the travel show "De Bende van Wim" with Wim Opbrouck.
A 2012 interview mentions that Blaute was a fan of John Lennon and Zappa in the 1970s. [1]
