Helen Reddy (1941) is an Australian born American actress and pop singer, best known for her hits "I Am Woman" (1972) and "Delta Dawn" (1973).

Zappa referenced her in the song Honey Don't You Want A Man Like Me, where "Helen Reddy" is mentioned as the female protagonist's "favorite group".

During concerts in the 1980s Zappa changed the line "Her favorite group was Helen Reddy" into Twisted Sister.
