Quote

"One of the aspects in Frank's music that I like (...) It's part of its character is that he's a humorist. He sees the weird, bizarre side of our culture and of ideas. And he takes a sort of diabolical pleasure in tweeking us with the words and with the music. (...) I felt that he had a principle, He had a really refined dignity, a sensibility about human beings that I responded to very much." - Haskell Wexler, interviewed in Frank Zappa: Pioneer Of Future Music, parts 1 & 2 (2007).
