Dick Barber

Dick Barber was the Zappa's road manager in the late 60's and early 70's. Often attributed as being the original snorker, going as far back as 1963 with Zappa's "How's Your Bird?", though Paul Buff makes the same claim.

Dick provided snorks and other vocalizations for We're Only In It For The Money, Lumpy Gravy, One Size Fits All, You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 5, The Lost Episodes.

He also played with great emotion the role of the industrial strength vacuum cleaner that Motorhead Sherwood falls in love with in the movie “200 Motels”.
