The "CC"

I've noticed a lot of articles have an "(CC)" added in their title to stress out that they are part of conceptual continuity. Couldn't this "CC" be removed? After all, we can already check whether they are "CC" by looking at "Category:Conceptual Continuity at the bottom of the pages of these articles. It would help redirecting other articles to these pages as well.

The additional CC was required to distinguish Billy The Mountain from Billy The Mountain and Louie Louie from Louie Louie etc. etc. For my money... in general I feel that much of this CC stuff is overdone (people putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5) and that it does not deserve more than a CC article and a paragraph or two at the end of the relevant individual articles.
