Grammy Awards ceremony.

“Of all the bands to play at the Grammys, I couldn’t understand why it was The Mothers of Invention. It was a Pre-ceremony Dinner held in some hotel and I think we played for about 30 minutes, and I’m telling you Man, we went all the way on that one! We really got out there! I don’t know how or why we got to be on their show as we have never been nominated for any of their awards and never would be.”[1]

A nominee for the Trustees Award was Krzysztof Penderecki.
