Black Oak Arkansas are an American rock band who were most succesful during the 1970s.

Zappa played one of their songs, "Hot and Nasty" (1971) three times while he was a guest DJ at Dr. Demento, WSTM, Chicago and WLIR, Long Island, respectively.
