Willie Dixon (July 1, 1915 - January 29, 1992) is name-checked on the cover of "Freak Out!" (1966) under the heading "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them". Blues producer, bass player, and writer of a great many classic blues songs ("Spoonful", "Little Red Rooster", "Back Door Man", etc. etc.) Worked extensively with Muddy Waters (also name-checked on "Freak Out!").

Legend Of The Illinois Enema Bandit is thematically a parody of Dixon's "Back Door Man".
