Notes About This Song
Frank Zappa's interest in the tank vessel accident on March 24, 1989, causing environmental desaster and worldwide protest came as a mild but not irrational surprise. His commitment led to the friendship with Jacques Cousteau and to composing the soundtrack for a documentary, Alaska: Outrage At Valdez about the accident and its consequences in the Prince William Sound, Alaska.
Jacques Cousteau is also mentioned and thanked in the liner notes of The MOFO Project/Object (2006) album. [1]
